Do X-rays and ct scans detect throat cancer in the larynx?

    X-rays, CT scans and ultrasounds will detect anomalous structures which are suggestive of tumors. Then a biopsy of the spot will confirm the nature of the tissue, if it is cancerous or not. An X-ray or CT can not diagnose cancer by itself, but if they don't find anything, then there is nothing there at that time.

    It would detect a mass. Biopsy detects cancer..
