Just out of curiosity, what s going to happen to the Patriot s 1st round draft pick in next year s draft?

    Seabass nailed it.There will only be 31 first round picks and the patriots are not eligible even to trade into the first round.

    I thought that it was just a vacated draft spot? I thought that in this case there would only be 31 picks in the 1st round.

    I could be wrong but that's what I thought.

    After they cheated to get to the Superbowl, hopefully, they'll lose their 1st round draft pick.

    They lost the pick. No one else gets it; it's just gone

    It will disappear and one fewer player will be drafted.
