We'll probably sign Pedro, because he's a realistic target and quite cheap too.
He can also play as a striker, which would be good.
Van Gaal said our strike force is good enough, though getting a player who is at least half decent there, may still be a priority and Pedro is a cheap and realistic target.
Centre back should be our priority though, especially after our recent game and it was also seen as a priority, last season.
Our current centre backs, including our Smalling (our best one at the moment), are injury-prone, so that should push us more into making a move for one.
I think Van Gaal only wants one centre back and the whole De Gea/Sergio Ramos saga wasted a lot of time.
In my view, we only targeted Sergio Ramos, so losing De Gea wouldn't be as bad, as I'm sure most Manchester United fans, would rather keep De Gea, so we were trying to fix one problem with another, by going for Sergio Ramos.
Sergio Ramos doesn't want to leave and is only using us, to try and get new deal.

Honestly don't know. No solid hints at all other than what the media report.
Pedro would be great, but looking at the Barca side I actually can't realistically see why they would sell in their current situation with the transfer ban. Pedro isn't a starter, but his role in the side is still very important in the sense that he's their most top quality option to cover any of Neymar, Suarez or Messi - be that through injury, suspension or just a rest. Hitting his buyout clause isn't possble at the moment either.
If/when Di Maria goes, I think there is a very strong chance of Uniter picking up either Cavani or Lucas in the process.
Otherwise I still think Austin will end up at United to provide cover up front.
In terms of width, Depay, Young, Januzaj, Mata, Valencia.. All decent options at the moment too.

The goalkeeper situation is pretty tensing. I think that De Gea will be heading to Atletico Or Real Madrid. I think that he will go for Pedro, Ibrahimovic, and Ronaldo but he will fail with all three of them. I also hear that Van Gaal has been attending MLS and Mexican Liga MX games and is interested in brining in position players from those leagues to Manchester United.

Pedro or Ibra.
For defender(s), I really hope Ottamendi and Stones. No offense to Chelsea fans or whatsoever

Probably another overrated Barcelona/Real Madrid reserve player who the fans will instantly claim is "world class" again, before they go on to flop and be sold a year or two later.
