California CDL behind the wheel driving test questions?

Ok so I've have my permit already and I'm ready to take my behind the wheel. What I'm wondering is do I need my own diesel and trailer? I didn't go to a school my dad has his own. I'm also guessing I need the registration and proof of insurance? Does the size of the trailer matter? My dad owns a 53' not a 45. Any other advice tips are appreciated thanks in advance!

Yes, you need to bring a truck with you to the driving test. The State does not provide one for you. If you are comfortable driving your Dad's truck, then that's the one you should use. Be ready to do a complete pre-trip inspection and brake test BEFORE you start the driving part of the test. .

As long as your dad's tractor/trailer is registered and insured it can be used for your CA CDL driving test. Be sure to bring proof of both.
