My friends elderly mother shoes extreme signs of dementia what can she do?

The elderly woman accuses everyone every day of stealing her things like hair spray..tv remotes...even her underwear... She has yelled over the intercom to her building door man to stay away. Even if there is a small chip on a plate she calls her daughter to call the police. My friends knows something is extremely wrong. All the stuff the mother thought was stolen was found. Even so the mother then says there crooks put it back.. the mother will not get a an evaluation. So what can my friend do?

They can talk to a doctor for seniors. They can talk to a hospital or public health or any number of health agencies and organizations that help families in her situation. She can talk to a social worker, etc.

Someone need to call her relatives or call the social services of your county and report this before she hurt someone or herself. Thar all you really can do.
