    No -- murder has a legal connotation that does not include abortion.

    However, since around 98% of all abortions are carried out as a lifestyle choice -- there is clearly a dubious morality to them.

    Since they are terminated while alive it can only be called murder. There have been over 51,000,000 abortions in the US since 1974.

    I once saw an ultrasound of an abortion taking place. The fetus actually tried to evade the suction probe until it was dismembered. It sensed danger and tried to preserve its own life. The doctor performing the procedure never did another abortion.
