Not something you can stop now that older questions can be answered at any time even those who have a best answer selected.

That change happened when they took away voting and no longer allow questions to be deleted when they have just 1 answer.

If you don't want to notified about them all you can do is change your settings to not get emails when your questions have new answers <<<Not a good solution but best you can do.

You can't, new yahoo policy. Questions remain up for answers forever.

You can't. I am receiving answers to obsolete questions about the old version of Yahoo Answers where they are of no help.

There is no way to do that. Questions are open forever and anyone can answer them.

Like everyone else. Leave the question because YA is like a pokedex, always evolving demanding new answers all the time. While using yahoo as a dummy email account because having a yahoomail account, hotmail account or any other subpar email service makes you look either like an illegal immigrant or a kid with no privledges. Get gmail or outlook. Quit paying attention to pointless battles.

Either choose your battles or get stuck being forced to fight them all.
