My personal opinion watching porn is not a sin But it is very unhealthy because it is like watching other people doing something that is suppose to be private. But watching porn also teaches us how other people have to suffer such extreme humiliation in order to pay their bills and raise their families. There are tens of millions of people in this world rely on this job in order to survive. This is absolute brutality spiritually; mentally and physically.

A British newspaper reported on some who watched porn (December 13, 2013), sticking only to recent British murders by men who were pornography addicts. They detailed the murders of victims Georgia Williams (17), Janis Dundas (62), Irene Lawless (67), Catherine Whynter (19), Sylwia Ciapcinska (24), Tia Rigg (12) and Jane Longhurst (31).
Georgia was strangled and her murderer took pictures of her before, during and after the killing. They were the photographic equivalent of a snuff movie, something he avidly viewed - women being killed during extreme sex to satisfy sick fantasies. The material discovered on his computer was so disturbing, it could not be revealed in open court because it could cause the public 'untold distress'.
The common denominator was that all the murderers were into pornography - addicted to it. Some of the sites they loved had names like "hanging b----es" and "necrobabes". Many of their mobile phones stored images of bondage, rape, sadomasochism and violent sexual acts. For those who think "I don't watch that kind of stuff, just entertaining porn..." that's how those guys started out. But it becomes addictive and it takes stronger and stronger scenes to arouse the addicts. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2522846/Hi...
Some are clearly rivited by what their eyes see and cannot tear themselves away from visual images. That is the nature of porn addiction. But the Bible warns Christians not to walk by sight. The desires of the eyes and of the flesh are traps Satan uses to make us ineffective as Christians. And for as long as God is disobeyed, (flee the desires incidental to youths, Paul told young Timothy) people cannot expect blessings in other areas. Those who show God they are serious about pleasing Him by getting His help to repent and turn away from the vile sin of pornography, might find Him giving them assurance on matters of faith. Yes, it absolutely is a sin to watch porn. AiH

If you didn't, would you then not be sinning in any way?
I think Martin Luther got this right:
"If you are a preacher of Grace, then preach a true, not a fictitious grace; if grace is true, you must bear a true and not a fictitious sin. God does not save people who are only fictitious sinners. Be a sinner and sin boldly, but believe and rejoice in Christ even more boldly. For he is victorious over sin, death, and the world. As long as we are here we have to sin. This life in not the dwelling place of righteousness but, as Peter says, we look for a new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. . . . Pray boldly-you too are a mighty sinner." (Weimar ed. vol. 2, p. 371; Letters I, "Luther's Works," American Ed., Vol 48. p. 281- 282)

James 1:14,15 But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it becomes fertile, gives birth to sin, in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished , brings forth death.
When you avoid such things as pornography, you avoid acting on some desire it might arouse in you, that may cause you to sin.

It is a sin to take yoru eyes off of God, if you notice how many hours you spend watching the stuff, you will know that you were not thinking of God for hours and hours and hours.

A person can better avoid lusting after pornographic images and other sins if he or she recites daily and with care the angelic psalter of the Blessed Virgin.

So long as you don't masturbate while you watch you can get away with it as education.
