Hey girl! I've been there too, don't stress about it just do what you feel comfortable with. Maybe you could use brown mascara everyday and concealer and powder if you have dark undereye circles, or if you have an acne problem, I recommend bb cream. A little shimmery eyeshadow never hurts either, just make sure it is close to your skin tone and not like neon green or yellow. If you want bigger eyes, use a brown eyeliner (not as dramatic as black) and tightly line your lashline. It really helps to make your eyes appear more awake, larger, and also makes your lashes look fuller. Remember, it's what's on the inside that counts, not the makeup on your face. Also, it's super important to take care of yourself and remove your makeup before going to bed. Also, if you start using more face products like concealer or foundation, I suggest a cleanser so that you don't break out because some products will do that even if you removed 99% of it.

I'm going in to tenth grade and I don't use much, but I suggest if your an 8th grader. Go simple, don't go all out buying expensive things. Don't go to the dollar store either though (yeah might be lead there) I say first off choose some neutral eyeshadows, maybe get eye primer to to make them stand out better and to use less eyeshadow (it's more pigmented if you decide to go a bit heavier with color) maybe get a second palette with some shimmer for parties or dances or dinners out, then a nice lipstick that isnt the kinds that are bright Hollywood red, maybe a light pink or corally or light red, if you want a blush depending on your skin tone go with a reddish one or pinkish or orangish (in my experience I can never find one that doesn't make me look out of breathe ) in my point of view, get stuff from the drugstore first, then next year do research about what you want and how much work you want to put into your look. Also, just ask your mom. She's had a lot of experience and can help

I'm gonna be a freshman in high school, and what I wear is minimal:
Sparkly neutralish eye shadow
Brown-black lengthening (not thickening, because I don't like that look) mascara (waterproof)
Concealer when I need it (I love Amazing Concealer by Amazing Cosmetics, sold at Sephora among other places for $42. It seems expensive but it lasts for like ever because you need so little to get good coverage.)
Neutralish pinky-red lipstick, because lip gloss is sticky (I like the Clinique brand because it doesn't taste funny)
I doubt you need more than that, for eight grade. A bunch of people here have said do foundation, but honestly, it's more trouble than it's worth. Eyeliner could go either way. Do whatever makes you happy.
Have fun!

I am also going to the 8th grade. I wear foundation, mascara, pink lipstick and eyebrow gel to fill in my brows. It really just depends what you want to wear.
Do you want to start doing your eyebrows?
Do you want to start using foundation, concealer, lipstick etc?
Do you want to have the obligation of taking off all your makeup at night?
Do you think you have enough money to start buying makeup?
Will your parents be okay with you using makeup?
These are some questions to consider. Also think what kind of makeup items you want to start using. Good luck :)

I suggest going light with foundation unless you have acne or acne scars and really want to cover them up. Like tinted moisturizers, BB Creams, CC creams.(match your foundation to your neck or you body and don't forget to blend on your hairline and neck!) Also don't forget to use primer and sunscreen underneath because it's very important to protect your skin. I dont exactly recommend you using very bold and bright colors for eyeshadows. Sticking to neutrals and earth tones is more natural and less intimidating. Some light blush, mascara, and tinted lip balm like Maybelline's baby lips or Burt's Bee's is good too. If you don't want to use eyeshadow and just want to stick with basic eyeliner and mascara or even just mascara alone is great too. Just experiment a little bit and find what feels comfortable for everyday! Hope this helps a bit

Of course you can wear makeup... But always put lotion on your face beforehand, let it dry and then put on makeup. Also, NEVER sleep with your makeup on. Clean the makeup off from your face well before going to bed. ALWAYS clean brushes after use, if you dont your face breaks out by the old makeup residue on the brush. Thats all... I hope this helped.

You should look at this make up tutorial, however if you are in 8th grade i suggest just sticking to the eyeliner/mascara part and maybe even the lip part (:
