How to survive the upcoming economic collapse?
So the U.S. is inevitably going to collapse. The dollar cannot withstand to be the reserve currency and the U.S. is screwed. The economy is going downhill, the housing industry is doing terrible, we are being lied to that the economy is doing well. We are in the same position we were in 2001 and 2008. This is going to be worse than the great depression of 1929. Should I move out to a different country? I'm thinking of moving to a North African country or an Arab country since I am an Arab and that's where I will be the safest (shocking I know). I can't explain because I will run out of space to type. I don't think I will be able to do that though. So if I have to stay here what things will I need? People keep telling me to get gold and silver but I think it will be useless and I can't afford it anyways. Any suggestions?

Even if it were to collapse on the level of the great depression, it'd be silly to think that you can go unaffected in another country. That would cause global problems. Stockpiling cigarettes would be a start. We'd go back to a barter economy. People would trade for things they want/need. Cigs are good bartering material.

+1 for making me laugh. In all seriousness though, we're nowhere near a full blown economic collapse. We're just in a market correction phase. Phases like these happen every few years.
