Was Jimmy Carter a good President? Rate him on a scale of 1 (terrible) to 10 (great)?

I'm actually a Democrat and would rate Carter as the worst president in my life time.

But, as a human, he's an amazing person. He is highly generous with his time and money for the poor, sick, and disadvantaged. He spends all his time doing good deeds these days. He's a stand up guy in my opinion

I'll give him a 2 as a president and a 9.5 as a human. I wish I could be half the man he is. He's been living a very honorable life since he left office....being a president just wasn't his thing. Sorry to hear he's in failing health, but I'm sure he's surrounded by loved ones.

I just read a comparison of him to Ronald Reagan and it changed how I feel about him. Based on this and what he's done since being president I'd rate him a 9. Plus, I love peanuts!

He mealy-mouthed the Iranians when they took our citizens hostage. White House staffers later reported that he was a vain show-boat who cared about appearances but not reality. Even a rabbit attacked him.

He was 6-7. He meant well but he was a chronic micro-manager which made getting anything done very difficult for him. He was also very naïve about the motivations of foreign and domestic adversaries.

he sucked but least he was mature minded.
