Why are you voting for Bernie Sanders when he is a zionist and has a duel Israel-U.S. citizenship?

I'll be honest. I was fully supportive of Bernie Sanders until I found out that he supported Israel. I then learned that he has duel Israel-U.S. citizenship. He says he doesn't want to continue sending billions in foreign aid to Israel, but who knows if he will keep to that statement if he is elected? He is also Jewish so I have a hard time believing him. He's changed his opinions on Palestine for YEARS and avoids calling himself a zionist when people ask.

Well, I'm likely not voting for him, unless the competition makes him the lesser of two evils. When it comes to politics, that's really what you have to vote for anyway.

Still, being a Zionist isn't a bad thing, insomuch that he supports the continued existence of Israel and their safety as well. That's really the functional, post-modern definition that most self-identified Zionists use anyway. It has nothing to do with some of the rather hateful things mistakenly attributed to it. It's true that he might not be able to cut the aid - after all, the president might not have the power to absolutely do so - but at the very least they spend it all on defense, so at least it's not that disturbing as they actually need to spend a lot on such measures to survive.

Also, Jewish politicians normally lack dual citizenship. I'll warn you that a lot of people who claim this are actually rather bigoted and lack proof to back themselves up, so if you are listening to someone try to find more justification than "they're Jewish" or "I heard". Yes, Jews can get easy citizenship from Israel BUT they have to apply and there is no evidence that Bernie did that. Until then you can't bother claiming he's a dual citizen, or else you should start claiming that all Germans, Japanese, or people from dozen or two backgrounds are dual citizens as well given similar citizenship laws of other nations.

Being Jewish shouldn't affect your trust in him; to be blunt, it should enhance it since Jews really don't have many other places to go. Even *if* he were nefariously working for Israel's benefit (he isn't), that often requires a strong US anyway. Most American Jews are very, VERY proud Americans and historically speaking, no other nation really has as much acceptance of them as the USA. Your failings at trusting him for that really need to be discarded.

He's a politician, which means he's changed his opinion on a variety of issues for years. Positions do change, such as many more politicians changing their tune about LGBT rights over these last decade. Considerably so, and Bernie Sanders is by far not the only one like this. Politicians who don't change their stances on anything are either very rare or a myth.

It's fine to not vote for him, but it would be a travesty to do so because of what you write because, to be blunt, none of these things are good reasons to do so. IMO of course, but a lot of other people would agree that it's at least ignoring a plethora of other issues.

" I was fully supportive of Bernie Sanders until I found out that he supported Israel. "

    This is a lie.

    Because later you say:

"He is also Jewish so I have a hard time believing him. "

In plain English, you are an antisemite.

So, it was obvious that you knew he was Jewish before you were told that he supported Israel. Yet, you claim you supported him them. So, its a lie.

Also, there is no evidence that he has dual citizenship and in fact, he is not.

Karl Marx was Jewish. The Rosenbergs were Jewish traitors. Hitler loathed Jewish communists. Hollywood Jews are universally left wing to this day. So what? In a democracy each person is entitled to express their opinion. They are in Israel too, and I surmise that they've experienced more trouble from intermural conflicts than they have from neighboring Muslims. I've personally benefitted from Jewish people more than any others, so I've no intention to dump on them, but we humans, as a whole, have been "civilized" for thousands of years and we still haven't found out how to get it right.

Learn to speak English you semi-literate piece of sh't. I hear your little Muzzrat buddies in Gaza are getting fvcked pretty hard recently, hopefully there is a famine there right now. You should take your meds.

  • That he's a socialist is enough for me. Why would he adopt the same philosophy as Hitler? Maybe the same reason George Soros betrayed his own people.
