Do you have a good recipe that uses garlic infused olive oil?

I work in an olive oil store and I plan on sending my aunt and uncle a couple bottles of our garlic infused olive oil and some recipes that involve the oil. The problem is I cannot find any recipes online. I keep getting pages that tell how to make the oil rather than one that tells me what to use it in. So, does anybody have a recipe that uses garlic flavored olive oil?

Almost anything Italian or French - if it needs olive oil and garlic, as so many of these recipes do, you've got it all in one and it saves messing around with the garlic cloves. I would certainly use it as the oil to fry the onion and mince in to start off a spaghetti bolognese.

Nigella Lawson, a British TV cook, is a big fan of garlic infused olive oil to save time. It's rather a theme of hers - you've had a hard day at work and you don't want to be slaving away in the kitchen but you still want something good to eat. She even did a whole TV series and book called Nigella Express on that theme. And this is one of hers http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/nigella-lawson/... A little extravagant perhaps with the wine and cream but a real French treat.

I don't have a recipe for it either, but I think that it would be delicious if you toasted some baguette slices and dipped it into the oil. It also sounds like it would be delicious with any veggies (steamed, roasted, or cooked in the olive oil). You could also take any recipe for roasted potatoes and use this oil to cook the potatoes with instead of plain olive or vegetable oil.

I also really like looking at www.bigoven.com or www.allrecipes.com for recipes where I have a certain ingredient that I'm trying to use up. You could put in "garlic flavored olive oil" as the ingredient and see if any recipes pop up.

I might also try doing a good shopping search and go to the website where it's sold, and see if they have any ideas of how to use it.

Good luck and hope that helps or gets you thinking of even more ideas :)

I agree with ckngbbbls. Any recipe that calls for olive oil and garlic would be a suitable place for garlic-infused olive oil. Or you could dip bread into it.

why would there need to be a specific recipe to use something this common. ANY recipe that calls for garlic and oil would be able to use the garlic infused oil.

just about any recipe that uses olive oil and garlic would be a good place to start. so, pastas, seafood, veggies, chicken, salad dressings and dipping sauces. A lot of recipe websites will let you search by ingredient.
