Are you afraid to die, but also afraid to take the risks needed to live a full and exciting life?

It's not a trick question. Most people will answer "yes" if they are honest with themselves.

    I'd rather say that I'm afraid to die before I am able to do anything with my life. I don't want to die without doing my part in the world yet I am afraid of doing some things that are needed to live a full and exciting life.

    No. Death is inevitable. There's no point in being afraid. The only sensible thing is to enjoy the time that you do have.
