I'd say the Chevy Equinox might be cheaper, if you need comprehensive insurance, otherwise the same price.

They're basically the same car. The Chevy would probably be a bit less to insure because it has a slightly lower retail price than the GMC.

There is no way to give you an answer. Prices some time depends on the insurance company. Same car, different insurance company will give you a different price so what may the cheapest car to insure with one company may be higher with another company,

The difference will be negligible if they are equipped the same as they are pretty much the same vehicle but with different sheetmetal. The V6 models of each will cost somewhat more to insure than the 4 cylinder models.

Why not do as bo suggests? Ask some insurance agents, not some yahoos on Yahoo. Good grief.
