Just lost v.?

Hi. Thanks for reading this.

I am ally, 17 years old.

About two weeks ago i lost my viginity to my long time bf. About a day or two after (more then 24 hours) i started bleeding. My hymen was already broken, due to horse riding (have been riding for about 9 years now). Is it my period? It doesn't seem as globby and heavy as usual, so i am not sure. My periods are also pretty irregular.

I also experienced some pain while having sex, in the back, around the pelvic area. Is something wrong with my cervix? Is that what is causing the bleeding?

And this is not pregnancy or STD. I am sure.

Your hymen cannot be broken - it can be torn but it cannot be torn from horse-riding, that is a complete myth - your hymen can only be torn as a result of vaginal penetration, even then typically only as a result of forced or rough penetration as it doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening and is flexible so stretches.

Bleeding may be menstruation - it's unlikely to be related to sex when it started a day or two afterwards, although bleeding and pain during sex can commonly be a result of vaginal tearing, hymen tearing, or cervix being hit. I recommend reading the following pages that discuss pain and bleeding during sex.
