Bacterial vaginitis before every period, then goes away?

A week before i get my period i get fishy smelling brown discharge. And before i can get an appointment in with my doc, its gone and i get my period. When my period is over, its clear until the next time its a week before my period.

Whats going on? Does anyone else have this?

Vaginal discharge is not a sign of disease, but a normal function of the body. In fact, it has the function of keep vagina clean and prevent infections.

When you have brown vaginal discharge, you should first make sure about when you have it. If this type of discharge occurs during your period it is normal, even if it contains a bit of blood, and if it occurs at the end of your period it may just be residual menstrual blood. However, if you have a more bloody, spotty discharge between your periods this may indicate pregnancy. In very rare instances it can indicate cervical cancer, so if you are concerned it’s best to get a medical check-up.

So accroding to your words, you always have fishy smelling brown discharge before period, it is normal.

If you still worry about your condition, you could consult online doctors, like Wuhan Dr. Lee’s TCM Clinic, they would offer free and professional online help to you.

    Good luck.
