need help with a court issue. court date coming up fast!?

I recently went to court for a misdemeanor charge in Brinkley, ar. I was ordered to hire my own defender. I truly do not know anything about any of this and I am running around like a maniac trying to find someone to help me. I keep calling all these people that pop up when I search "public defender in Brinkley, AR" but I keep hitting dead ends. I don't know what else to do and I don't have a lot of money to hire anyone expensive. I have so many unanswered questions and I don't know what to do.
