If you have enough room get 2 baby guinea pigs (male and female) so she has plenty of company the only thing you need is a lot of space, neuter the male, and get plenty of food bowls, water bottles and a bunch of toys she will love it for sure. Guinea pigs are HIGHLY social they aren't meant to be alone like hamsters. I'm happy you care for your guinea pig like all good moms or dads should do and sorry about her daughter. Wish best of lucks to you.

Get another guinea pig! Best to only get one new one at a time though. Guinea pigs need to be introduced properly and two new at the same time might gang up against your current piggy. In addition, males have to be separated from females for 6 weeks after they've been neutered as their sperm can survive for this long so if you were thinking about getting a male, you'd need somewhere else to house him. I'd suggest a younger female as your best option. A lot of rescues offer a 'dating' service so that your current guinea pig can be introduced to a range of others and you can choose one that definitely gets along with your piggy - if you can find somewhere that does this, it's definitely a good idea.

If you can't find somewhere that does 'dating', some useful links on introducing guinea pigs so you can do it yourself:
