Do you did wifi for kindle audio?

    I am ASSUMING yo8u means Kindle FIRE even though you didn't say FIRE, because current "Kindles" (the ereaders) have no audio at all.

    It depends what you are doing. If you are doing something you can only stream (for example, maybe playing some Amazon music free as a prime member), you may need Wifi. If buy and DOWNLOAD music from Amazon, then it should not require Wifi to play it. If you put music files on yourself, the Kindle will not play them - you must import them through your music cloud.

    If you are viewing the CLOUD contents of your Kindle instead of the On Device contents, yes Cloud contents needs a Wifi connection because you are referring to the copy stored at Amazon.
