Is being gay a choice?

There is no consensus among scientists about the exact reasons that an individual develops a heterosexual, bisexual, gay or lesbian orientation. Many think that nature and nurture both play complex roles; most people experience little or no sense of choice about their sexual orientation.

Having intimacy with anybody is a choice. I think most people are born either gay or straight, but I also think some people might actually change from one to the other over a period of time, there's all kinds of people on this planet, I've noticed.

Possessing an innate attraction for a certain gender is real, I believe, because I don't ever remember "being taught" to have a giddy awesome feeling for women, it just happened (happens).

I think it's mostly not a choice! I can see from some ppl behaves that they are gay and it's obvious I can't deny it! Also there are some others who are gay but signs are less obvious but still you can tell!

I was born like this, I didn't choose to be like this. Do you think I'd purposefully choose to be a homosexual? I get persecuted at work, every time I go out in public people laugh at least once before the day is over, men don't talk to me or associate with me. It is tough being who I am, and I certainly didn't choose to be like this.

Why should it be any different for someone that prefers their own sex? They didn't wake up one day and "choose" a sexual preference. 😑
