The news is that all the petrol has been 25 to 30 cents litre over priced . The government is considering an inquiry to find out how all the state is involved because for years the government has been saying "if you don't like the price shop around competition keeps prices down now the question is how is it that the whole sate is involved It does seem the so called free market needs a government watching The banks Toxic loans now even petrol

If you want to complain, the price of LPG (you know, the "environmentally friendly" stuff the government wanted us all to change to) is even more of a rort, because it doesn't follow trends. A few months ago when the price of unleaded plummeted and went to under a dollar a litre, the price of LPG stayed exactly the same.

And Sydney, like all things, really needs to stop whining. Fuel is CHEAP up there. Only three hours down the road, in the CAPITAL CITY, it's 15-20c more expensive.

Petrol companies have been overcharging since day one. That is how they make money.

.....and your problem is? We were at $1.38 per litre a week ago, today it is $1.08, that is for regular. Why would your government stick their noses into it, with the cut they make in fuel tax.

Successive governments have done nothing to protect Australians from price gouging by these thieving scum.
