What happen to people asking actual good and meaningful questions?

Sometimes I would browse in some categories (polls and surveys is the worst offender) and see some of the most ridiculous questions out there. Some are stupid, some are really random and some far too vague. It takes away my focus on answering real questions from those who need help. Does anyone feel the same way.?

Like I saw posted long ago: "does anyone know Felicia number? jk bye Felicia!!

    YA is pretty much just a troll site. It's populated mostly by children who aren't serious about answers, or questions for that matter. But there are also users that just have no clue.

    YA is actually discussed on other forums as being about as lame as a site like this can get. There are other sites that take posts from here and post them for the sole purpose of showcasing clueless posts.

    It never use to be this way. This actually use to be a decent place to ask good questions and get decent answers.

    a vicious cycle of trolling :

    trolling is pretty much enabled, and by many regular users;

    so visitors see all the trolling and stay away,

    & that creates more troll Q&A which drives away more visitors, etc.

    It's become a meme to post funny and ridiculous questions on yahoo answers. I myself give troll answers on people's questions from time to time. Don't take this so serious. We're on the internet. People are gonna do what they do.
