What is causing the strange feeling along the central right side of my right foot?
It feels like someone is taking a piece of string and pulling it tight against my skin along the right side of my right foot. The pain only is triggered if my leg is straight d I turn the right side of my right foot downward or forward.
There are no external abnormalities. There was no single traumatic event. The only thing I can thing of that may have contributed to an injury is often times I will climb up onto my truck using my right foot and I will stand on the tire all while my foot is turned in the same direction helping support most of my weight.

I suggest you see a physician, who can run some additional diagnostic test and determine the extent of your condition. The doctor can then outline the best course of treatment for you.
