you should ask canada this... they probably get this question alot since people go to alaska to hunt but live in the lower 48.
also nothing anyone can say on this site can constitute as legal advise, so its really best to get an official answer from the official source.
this is the US side by the dept of fish & game

my question is about the legal issue of transporting meat across the border of canada. A friend of mine recently went to canada and had to dispose of some oranges she had in her car because she was not allowed to bring them into canada. I am wondering if I can carry meat across the canadian border.

Davy, I've always made arrangements to have my game and fish packed in dry ice and shipped to me direct from Alaska. Mainly because I've always flown into the state and flown out. Back in 1974 I had an uncle who drove to Alaska from Texas, spent the summer and part of fall traveling there. When he came back the Canadian government made him pay an import fee on the salmon he had in the freezer of his travel trailer. I would suggest you contact the Alaska fish and game folks and ask them about this.

-Travel time
-Temperature
If the animal is outside the car for example in the trolley then okey because of the temperature.
If it is inside the car then I am not sure but if the travel time is more than 4 hours then no(search for how much an dead animal can stay out of the refrigerator before bacteria and other microorganisms start to involve )
Also you have to swap the animal with something.
Sory for my english.

If it's packaged, you may be able to get away with it. Otherwise, probably not. There is a serious disease that can spread through dead meat to wild animals called Chronic Wasting Disease. They do not allow the import of game meats. They do not allow imports of fruits because it can spread diseases to their crops. I had to throw out a bag of apples because of that.

yes, as long as you have all the paperwork that proves you took the animal legally.
