Because sadly enough, there's always going to be a group of parents who give their child an utterly crappy and brainless name regardless of their age range.
But classic, decent and practical names will always be the majority (:
For example, a name such as Noah can easily fit into the top 10 (I know it currently is) but a name such as Braxton: I highly doubt it.

Everyone has different opinions on what is beautiful and what is not, it would be boring to all be the same. I doubt if there is any parent at all that would go out their way to choose a terrible name to punish their unborn.
I might not be a fan of a lot of names I see on here but I would not tell any person the name is ridiculous.
I like unique, old, not used these days names, others like modern and trendy. I respect the views of every parent on here.

To them the name isn't ridiculous, its just comes to a matter of opinion.
It makes their child unique and not being one of three in a class.

To the parents, the name is not ridiculous, so i guess there's no way to answer this question.
