Sure, the most likely culprit is indeed the battery. Have that checked first. If the auto parts store/automotive center determines the battery is holding a charge then it could indeed be the starter, alternator, etc.

probably the battery - start with the easiest item to repair and go from there ; if you have the mechanical knowledge, you can remove the battery and have it tested at an auto parts store ; same for the starter

that tic -tic is the starter solenoid trying to engage the starter motor ...it cant because the battery is flat ..either charge or change the battery
