    You mean the one that's supposed to hit us next week? Since there is no asteroid/comet/rogue planet heading out way, there is nothing to be aware off.

    On a different note, where is the notion that NASA is some kind of World Ministry of Space comes from? NASA coordinates civilian space research in the US and occasionally partners with other countries' space agencies and private companies. Some, but not all of NASA activities have to do with astronomy, but most of astronomy research, including discovering new asteroids and comets takes place at nation's universities, without NASA's involvement.

    All Near Earth Asteroids are being Tracked. Comets are too small to worry about.
