If your spouse (girlfriend or wife) After an argument told you "you're sleeping on the couch". what would you do/say?

I would tell her "I'm not sleeping anywhere but the bed. WE had an argument. Neither one of us is the good guy or the bad guy- we simply DISAGREED on something. We are EQUALS. I am not below you; I am not a child or a dog; you do not get to tell me to sleep on something other than my bed, while you continue to sleep on the bed."

I would then pause and say,

"I AM staying on the bed. Period. YOU can either sleep on the bed with me, or you can sleep on the bed and lay away from me- also fine- or you can sleep on the couch, if you're so insistent on sleeping separately. But I will not sleep on the couch as a form of punishment. You are not my mother."

Then if she tried to put her hands on me or call cops to try and accuse me of a false crime like psycho women often do, I would start recording a video with sound only iPhone 6 so that if she tried calling the cops I would have proof of the whole exchange.

He'd just go sleep on the couch if I asked him to. But, we have a large 8 bedroom house so more likely than not, he'd just go to a different room.

mine actally sleeps on the couch but in the middle of the night i actually wake him up and he comes to bed.

sometimes its just best to cool things down, so id sleep on the couch.
