Why do people ask for my number only to never hear from them again?
I just entered university this year and met a lot of people which in turn became friends quickly over time. After getting to know them they ask for my number and such and I'm happy enough to give it to them. Only problem I never hear from them again. No phone call or text. What gives? I mean why bother asking for my contact info if I will never hear from them again.

I think it's pretty common to ask for someone's info after having a great time with them. I mean this is pretty common you know ,unless if you actually see each other all the time that they can be constantly reminded of you ,nonetheless we all sort of move on with our daily lives and the people in it.
