My dad helped me with my work ethic. Growing up I watched him work his way from the bottom up. He never let me take the easy way out of anything and if it wasn't for that college would have been a different story for me. Having a younger sister has helped me think before I act. It's easy to mess up and do something stupid but I always think about how mad I would be if my sister did that or how upset my parents would be if I did something really dumb that my sister knew about. My friends have also taught me patience. If it wasn't for friends or family motivating me id probably be a 23 year old loser making $8/hr at mcdonalds

My dad died when I was 7 and I've never really had close friends, so that just leaves my siblings.

If it weren't for my sister I wouldn't have grown up with any social interaction with somebody my age, so I'm thankful for that. My brother has autism so having him as my brother has taught me a tremendous amount about autism that I don't think I could've known otherwise.

My father's work ethic shaped mine, 100%. If my siblings taught me anything it's that family is important to me. My friends haven't taught me any major lessons that have shaped my life per se, but through experiences I can say that quality trumps quantity in friendships
