What is the best way to move a boat without a boat trailer?
I am looking a at 27' bayliner, from the specs its 27' 8' beam around 5500-5800 lbs Single engine. It is a larger boat but would love to have it for my family. I dont have a trailer designed for a boat that big as I generaly stay around 18' and under. I would purcahse a trailer designed for the boat after I purchase it aand have it home. My question is what other ways would there be to move a boat of this size? I have considered looking into renting a trailer but closest thing I found local that way is a uhaul car hauler which I highly doubt would work and dont even wish to consider it.
Any ideas helpful thanks

If the overall length 27ft .The beam cannot be 27'8" the term beam is the width measurement at it's widest point. 27' 8" beam you are taking up two high lane and towing a virtually square boat. If you buy an 18' trailer you have a 5' foot overhang fore and aft. That's one strange hitch. The estimated weight is estimated a max close to 3 tons. Poor tires and suspension .... Call a boat mover who will use low rise heavy equipment trailer hitched on a semi.

Can not be done, you need a trailer. Your options are to borrow one or to get some one , such as a marina or boat transport company to do this for you. There are no boat trailer hire companies around that would have a trailer for boats of this size.

why don't you just buy a trailer and go pick it up? you can call a freight co. that moves boats. they could bring it out to your house, but you would need the trailer
there for them to set the boat on.

You could have a transport company move the boat to another marina ( you will need a location that can off load the boat safely and the marinas are equipped to load and unload the boat.

Call your local marina and pay them to move it.
If you have to ask, you are not ready to lift and drop a boat onto some kludge of a trailer.
