Why is the game Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain?
Why is it called what it is called when it is about big boss and not solid snake? I thought metal gear solid games were originally for solid snake and not big boss.

But... I mean as in Solid Snake, the clone from Big Boss / Naked snake / Original snake. Isn't the metal gear solid series named after solid snake, hence metal gear *solid* ?

Snake became Big Boss after the events from Snake Eater. Its still him, different codename.
