I have a police scanner app can they like hear me talking on it?

    The police scanner apps cannot transmit waves back to the signal, so no. The apps only collect the frequencies and so that you can hear it. It doesn't transfer back. I don't see why you should worry, though. If you're not saying anything bad you shouldn't worry!

    Not at all. A scanner is a one way broadcast from a dispatcher and a patrolman back to the dispatcher. You have a receiver, not a transmitter.
