Am I transgender or a crossdresser?
So I'm a 23 year old straight male but I love to dress like a girl. When I dress I go all out. I paint my nails do my makeup so my eyes really pop, wear a cute skirt and top or a dress, and high heels too! I'm a girly girl and I love dressing more and more. I am happy when people refer to me as a girl. But when I'm not dressed I am happy as a guy. Some days I'm happy as a boy but when I'm dressed I want to be seen and accepted as a girl. Is there something wrong with me? What's going on

Sounds to me like you are a Crossdresser and nothing more.
I have been a crossdresser more many years and have also done the whole look thing, and occasionally, still do. The shaving of my body from the neck down, the breast forms, the makeup, the shoes, the clothes, and of course, the beautiful lingerie. I used to spend hours and countless dollars getting my look "just right" for the day, or night of being a "girl". Then on Monday, I would go to my construction job, just like any other day so I could get more money to get that cute outfit I saw
All the while this was going on, I was still seeing my steady girlfriend or playing sports or going for motorcycle rides just like any other guy on the planet. It was, and for the most part, is, my private hobby. I say "for the most part", because a few select woman know of my hobby. And maybe a few strangers. An ex girlfriend being one, as well as the ladies at the li ngerie store where I finally went to get a proper fitting for a bra. What a World of difference That made!
Dress up if you want but, don't worry about it. Just relax and have fun with it. I know I did, and will again.
Now, I'm off to find a new leotard and skirt...

You do not exhibit gender dysphoria, you are comfortable with your gender as much as your alternative gender.
Most people would consider you a cross-dresser. However, most transgenders would say that they started off as cross-dressers. They will tell you that they thought they would never transition. As time goes on they find that they need to be accepted as a female, and they want to spend their lives as a female. That could happen to you too, but you don't have to make that decision until you get there.
I suggest you contact the forum on crossdressers.com and talk to others like yourself.

Crossdresser. Transgender, isnt a real thing. Theres only men, woman, woman that think they are a man, men that think they are a woman. And surgery doesn't change what you are, it just makes you a freak of nature. Homosexuality is actually explainable though, and other species have been known to have some homosexuals.

You're a crossdresser. You don't exhibit the transsexual behaviour patterns.

You're situation is similar to me. You're a cross-dresser. I'm a man who got breast implants and still identify as male.
