Tikun olam - 'factory reset'?

Hi

I'm about to teach 14-15 year olds about the concept of tikun olam - healing or repairing the world and restoring the world to the way it was when God gave it to mankind.

Kids will be familiar with the idea of a 'factory reset' - do you think this is a worthwhile metaphor to use for teaching?

I like it. It reminds me of the Harvard Lampoon's parody entitled "Bored of the Rings". Three of the rings were "recalled for factory defects".
