Does a magnet undergo a change in strength when moved from the surface of the earth to the surface of the moon?

No. The magnet itself does not change.
However, the force the magnet encounters due to interaction with the prevailing magnetic field changes because the Earth has a signficiant magnetic field, and the Moon has essentially none. But that's not a change in the magnet itself.
