How are both the bleeding-heart ideology and the concept of strict gun control combined supposed to benefit the everyday productive citizen?

Uh, what, if anything, are you referring to with "bleeding-heart ideology"? Do you mean trying to prevent mass starvation? You can't see how it's BETTER for hardworking people to NOT STARVE in the streets?
If you can't understand that, then it's impossible for you to understand ANYTHING AT ALL.
A for gun control -- STRICT? The proposals over 85% of Americans support are HARDLY STRICT. They're really quite minimal.
Background checks for ALL gun sales. Bans ONLY on weapons and ammo that were designed for the sole purpose of murdering dozens of people in a few seconds. Ability for the federal government to GATHER DATA on gun crime.
Those aren't STRICT at all.
That a brainless sub-human who LOVES seeing mass murders on a daily basis can't POSSIBLY understand how any HUMAN thinks and feels about ANYTHING.
Since what you most want is to see people starving to death, and being shot in front of you, you could move to North Korea, or an ISIS-held area.
Most Americans, unlike YOU, are HUMAN BEINGS who don't take joy from suffering and needless death.
And I realize you don't understand. You probably never will, as you will probably never know, for even the briefest moment, what it is like to be a HUMAN BEING.

Everyday productive citizens want to be able to go to work, or to the movie theater, or to their kids' school, without having to worry about getting shot and killed. Even if they are also armed, how can they be sure they will be the better shot? The wacko shooter won't care if he dies. Why should Joe or Jane Citizen be required to be proficient with firearms at a military level just to be able to buy groceries? The best protection against random gun violence is.. wait for it.. GUN CONTROL.
