3$ sandwich?

I got a 3$ sandwich but the shop charged me $5 is this legal?

I understand in some states places can require a minimum but this place refused give me the option of getting M&M's to or a soda to even out the difference they just charged me 5$

and then refused to refund me

Any legal actions I can take?

Update:

Keep in mind that why had no sing stating a minimum charge,

Nor did they give me the option of purchasing more to bring my charge up to their minimum

I have no issue with the minimum,

I just have an issue of not being notified

Nor do I plan on pressing any legal charges...

I just am looking for options of action to remedy this from happening to others like you...

Update 2:

The sign clearly said BLT Hero 3$

Update 3:

So please no idiotic answers like if you don't like the price don't buy it because I will just mark is as abuse of YA terms, perhaps you should read all the relevant info before you answer

No, just never go there again. Next time, read the signs.

They made is mistake on the tag.

If you didn't want to pay $5 for the sandwich, you should have kept the money in your pocket and left (without the sandwich).

If it happens again, show the clerk the tag, if they still insist that the sandwich is $5, decide whether you want a $5 sandwich or walk.

(P.S. a truthful answer that you don't like doesn't constitute abuse.)

You misread the price. You bought a $5 sandwich. You DO NOT understand that some states have a minimum, because NONE do. The fact you BELIEVE that is allowed in ANY state is sufficient evidence that you don't know how to read a menu board.

If they charge $5 for it, it's not a $3 sandwich.

If it's not worth $5 to you, don't buy it.

It's five dollars. If you're going to sue them for five dollars... you have too much time on your hand. Just don't go there anymore.

If you didn't like the price when they told you the total you should not have paid.
