    Kurva MC memotong kurva AVC dan AC pada titik minimum.

    Bila besarnya biaya marjinal (MC) lebih kecil dari biaya total rata-rata (AC) maka AC akan turun.

    Bila biaya marjinal (MC) lebih besar dari biaya total rata-rata (AC) maka AC akan naik.
