Need help with college transferring, majors, and general knowledge?

So right now, I m 18 and I m at a community college strictly to save the money from a 4 year college. I am taking English Honors, Statistics, Computer Basics, Marketing, and Management. I am in a Business program, but I m reading all over that a Marketing degree or Management degree is completely useless. I don t understand switching major and classes, because I m not sure if what I m doing now impacts what classes I take at my next college after these 2 years. I don t know if I want to do Marketing anymore since I ve heard awful things about it, how they are impossible to find jobs in. I d like to go into something like Statistics, since I really like that class, but I don t understand what I need to be taking to get a statistics major once I transfer, or if I only take statistics classes when I get to an actual college.

First you'd need to see if the 4 year college you want to transfer to even has a Stats major. I've never heard of one but that doesn't mean they don't exist. If you find one, it should have a list of what courses are required for that major.

It sounds like you're taking the basic core classes in a business major program. Assuming you do well in all of your classes, the point of you taking them is to A) get your GPA to where you can transfer, and B) get your basic classes out of the way so when you do transfer you can focus on the classes for your major.
