Safari update problem?

I recently updated my Safari browser on my Macbook pro. Now, whenever my cursor goes to the left side of the page, and the bookmark menu just pops up. It annoys the hell out of me and I need it to stop! Thanks for the help!

    Please tell all the steps you took to update.

    EDIT :

    Try these two things...

    – At top menu bar, Safari > Reset Safari > Reset All Website Data.

    – Restart while holding the shift key for 45 seconds.

    If this doesn't solve it, reinstall El Capitan, which includes the latest version of Safari.
