How many U.S. troops are stationed in the Philippines?

I'm trying to write a paper about how many US troops are in the Philippines, how long they've been there, and why, ect. I can't seem to find any hard statistics on this topic, almost as if no one knows how many troops we've sent there. I don't think that's possible so I'm hoping someone on here knows. Please cite your sources if you can!!

    As of Now, there are no military bases there.

    They closed decades ago.

    Easy search on internet thing
