Would this be a good way to start a book?

Started with the character waking up on a plane before a parachute drop and then at the end revealing that everything everything since the start happened before the books story starts? Almost like a prolouge. Would you be happier if it was a prolouge or included in the first chapter

Sounds like the book itself would just be the aftermath of the actual story if you keep it this way. If I were to write this particular idea, I would have the main character wake up but not remember anything then as the story goes along, slowly reveal pieces (in any order) as the protagonist finds out him/herself.
