Is it too late?
I am buying a guitar in 3 days. I am passionately enthusiastic. But at 18, is it too late? When I say late, I am not setting myself a deadline, but is it too late to be something with it? I know I am jumping the gun too quickly, but a man can dream xD I have a lot of things written down, so is this enough? Most great guitar players begin at 10 or 12 or something.

No, you are absolutely not too late to get something out of it. There are players starting off much later than this and have been ale to reach a very decent level. As longs as you get proper tuition, practice regularly and correctly, don't rush things, and you remember to have fun, you can definitely make up for the "lost time" :-)

I think Clapton was 17 when he picked up guitar for the first time...and I think we can agree he's not bad.
