How many years now has the "Valerie Harper is dying of cancer" story been running?

Quit reading the gossip magazines and their flashy trashy headlines.

Valerie Harper was diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer to her brain back in 2013. Her prognosis was grim. She is responding well to treatments. She is doing fine (for now), but the treatments will fail and she will die of the disease.

If you look at the gossip rags, you will also notice that Bill and Hillary have been dying of cancer, for well over 20 years. What the tabloids like to do is spread lies about celebrities that they 'just know' their readers want to know about. It sells tons of rag mags and the celebrities don't want to go thru the hassle of suing the rumor-mongers.

She has beaten the odds on lung and brain cancer. She raises a lot of money for others who can not afford to fight cancer....trust me, fighting cancer takes a lot of money for individuals, and research facilities. She may have a publicist who helps get her cause into the spotlight - and good for her! The message is you can fight and win against cancer. How is that not a good thing?
