I am dog sitting for a friend, and am not used to dogs being indoors without a doggie door for their bathroom needs. I have to be gone for roughly 5 hours a day. I let them out right before I leave, and right when I get back. Is this too long? They are large dogs, both roughly 7 years old.

I live in a house with 3 other people, and one roommate I think I have seen twice in six months. We are on opposite schedules, so it makes sense. It's just so weird to share a house with someone I barely know. No complaints, just wondering if others have had the same.

I am broker than broke, and my friend is taking me. She will plunk down a $50 bet for me for fun, but I don't know who to bet on. They both seem like strong teams. I think there is a point spread, but I know nothing about gambling. A little help?

I know the big celebration is November 1, but are there also celebrations and parties the day before (Halloween) and the day after?

My friend, who recently lost her husband and beloved 20 year old cat within the same few months - wants to stuff her cat. I know the cat wouldn't mind. But it seems crazy to stuff a pet. I'd actually cry if a past pet was stuffed in my house. Should I try to talk her out of it, or am I being too much in her business?

I brought her to the vet last week, and she had her anal glands ( which were full) expressed. So, why does she still butt scoot? Should I take her back, or has the scooting become a habit?

A mother and teenage (17) daughter have to fight a psychopath at the end. Both are very strong and intelligent, and put up a good fight. Who would you rather see make the kill shot against the psycho to win the battle? The daughter or the mother?

My mother's cats have ballooned to raccoon sized in the past few years. They are sisters, born in 2007. My parents have had many happy and healthy cats over the years, and fed them the exact same thing over the years. She has limited their otherwise free-range kibble. I asked her to take them to the vet, but she is afraid of being yelled at for making them fat. I can't leave town to kidnap my mom's cats to take them to the vet, so perhaps advice on what made them balloon, and what could be wrong?

I have a Toyota Rav 4. One of the headlights burned out. Can I just buy a replacement and pop it in myself, or is it better to let a professional do that? Just trying to save some money.
