WE have been married for 27 years.
Throughout this time, we have both worked full-time.
Husband cooks all meals, prepares all lunches, Sunday to Tuesday. Wife cooks all meals, prepares all lunches Thursday to Saturday. Wednesday is "eat out" day.
Sometime we trade days with each other ... if I have a Saturday activity, I will trade my Sat for his Sun.
btw, this includes grocery shopping and doing the dishes too.
As far as the rest of the housework, we rotate the chores. One week I do the laundry and he keeps the bathroom clean .. the next week we trade. One week he mows the lawn or shovels snow .. while I keep the floors clean . the next week we trade.
Once every 2 months, we take turns doing NOTHING for the whole week .. we get the week off. And our partner carries our chores for us.

My husband has made dinner 4 times in the 6 years we've been together, his food is horrible and I consider it a punishment when I have to eat what he makes.

Im no longer martied, but when i was, i would cook about 8 meals a week. We both worked, so breakfasts and lunches during the week were usually made bybsomebody at our corporate cafeterias. I usually made most of the meals at home.

Presently probably 3 nights a week. It used to be more than that but my wife is suddenly taking the initiative and learning how to not burn the kitchen down

There's never enough time for either of us to cook so we normally just have a frozen meal or fast food. But if I had to say one had more time to cook than the other I'd say it was my wife. I cook dinners so seldom these days because she would rather have me doing the out of the house errands and my normal man chores.
