Why hasn t Chip Kelly figured out that DeMarco Murray is a north-south running back?

Hey Kelly...... Seems that you havent figured out yet that Murray is a north - south running back, not a east - west running back like McCoy was. It s also hard for Murray to get going, when every single time he is starting out 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage standing next to Bradford in the shotgun. This is basic football taught in gradeschool, why dont you get it??? Get you head out of your a$$. This is the NFL!!!!

    Kelly, like many college coaches, believe the system not the players are responsible for success of the team. Kelly so far is making all the same mistakes of the great college coaches that don't make it in the NFL. Their egos wont allow them to tailor the system around the strength of their players.

    There were some subtle tweaks to the offensive versus the porous Saints defense. This week, it would not be surprising for Murray to have a "breakout" N-S afternoon running the pigskin.

    a good coach uses a system that is best for the athletes he has, while a poor coach tries to get athletes to fit into a system that does not fit their abilities.

    Because he wants players to adjust to his style and not him adjusting to theirs.
