Is it ok for me to support Germany and Spain in football.?
The thing is I love Germany because I speak the language and I plan to study there next year, but my ancestral roots are from Spain.

Who would tell you which team to support. Do whatever you like.

It's fine to me. I'm German and I'm not really the football guy, so whatever team you'll support, it will be fine. As long as it isn't the Netherlands, but they, hey: Didn't make it to the European Championships. Because they lost against the Czech Republic!
It is so wonderful to me, as a German, that for the first time in decades, the Dutch, our arch-enemy in football, has been kicked out of the game by a nation that probably was underestimated so far. And Turkey is in! That's going to be a wonderful football summer in Berlin, or little Istanbul, as some people call it.
